Virginie Simon-Valory

Virginie Simon-Valory is a Paris-born artist whose work raises fundamental questions about living organisms—their forms, structures, and behavior in relation to the environment and farm world. Her exploration of nature and the interplay between living organisms is expressed through three distinct series: DV, Bags, and Collapsed. Each series embodies her thoughtful choice of materials and techniques, balancing between roughness, sensitivity, and frailty.

With a rich academic background in Fine Art and Art History, Virginie currently works between Brussels, Belgium, and Monte Romano, Italy. Through her mixed media creations, she delves into the theme of vegetals, inviting viewers to reflect on the complexities and beauty of the natural world.
