“I paint, therefore I am. A few years ago, the brush found me and has not left me since. After self-taught beginnings, I have completed various courses in classical and modern painting. My works are mostly figurative or semi-abstract, often large-scale, colorful, in acrylic or oil. I deal with a wide variety of topics, implement what comes to mind and that is very diverse. I like to show in my work surprising, strange or outlandish and therefore call some works 'IRREalistisch'- the combination of IRRE (German word for crazy) and realism . In addition to figurative works, which are always based on a concrete idea, I tend to follow the brush in the abstract ones and be surprised what develops. For many years I have been interested in socio- political issues, the environment and what we humans do with this planet. My heart beats especially for the exploited fellow creatures of non-human species, which I often put in various ways in focus. Thus, among other things, imaginative hybrid creatures are created, which incidentally counteract the loss of species by creating new species. Because despite all seriousness one thing must not be missing with me: Humor - 'because without humor everything is nothing!”
