Sofía Balut Páez was born in Montevideo, Uruguay in 1991. Growing up among brushes and colors, being the granddaughter of the great renowned artist Carlos Páez Vilaró, learning both from him and from her aunt Agó, who encouraged her in her artistic path in her childhood.

She started as long as she can remember and continues today working on her professional career. She has her Art Gallery located in La Barra, Punta del Este, Uruguay, where she exhibits her works, part of the private collection her grandfather and other contemporary artists. She is currently based in Barcelona, Spain where she has her Art Studio in Poblenou.

Continuing her profession with a great artistic influence, the young her will continue to acquire knowledge of this wonderful world of art.
