Seiko Harima
Artist Biography:
Seiko Harima was born in South Korea and works in Japan, England, and the United States. Her primary artistic practice is painting, where she seeks to express the beauty of nature through the power of color, using oil and charcoal on canvas.
Seiko is currently pursuing a Master of Research (MRes) in Fine Art & Humanities at the Royal College of Art (RCA), London. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Art and Design at RCA in Fall 2023. Her MRes research project focuses on expressing the effects of climate change on the landscape environment, using oil and charcoal on canvas. She also holds an MA in Fine Art from the University of Brighton, England, and a BA in Fine Art from Nagoya University of the Arts, Japan.
