From a very young age, Nour was greatly inspired by the work of Monet, Kandinsky, Van Gogh, and other artists. She constantly reproduced paintings that caught her eyes. Her pursuit and her perseverance had led to an ongoing research for combinations and motifs until she became a self-taught painter with great talent. She has always studied and understood light, color and movement and she instinctively used them on the canvas to bring her imagination to life. 

“I see arts as an invitation to connect with that which is bigger than ourselves and a way to dive into imagination: what lies beyond our sight. 

My most often go-to medium is oil paint for the luminosity, vibrance and lively end-result it gives to my artworks. I use various materials and processes: contrasts, textures, and bold colors to make my paintings stand out.  

My paintings are a mix of passion, emotions, and dreams. I spend days and weeks on a canvas and never stop before I reach the perfection I aim for. I let my emotions and instinct guide me through the painting and this is where I find myself creating.”
