“Through painting, I am regaining what I lost in the past. It is a happy and joyful time. I am free, calm, and follow the inspiration of nature. The nature of Hokkaido gives life to my work. The truth I know after painting is the result of inspiration. And sometimes I paint emotionally.

My paintings incorporate techniques from early childhood education. I draw curves and color them in. I use interesting color combinations that are balanced so that adjacent colors do not compete with each other. When I color, the painting speaks on its own and various shapes emerge.

There is always a fact to learn from the painting. Colorful and variously shaped parts represent "diversity," and the way colors are combined represents "coexistence" and "co-prosperity.

Countless parts fit together perfectly to form a single world. I always feel a love beyond human comprehension. My paintings change with the viewer's sensitivity, state of mind, and time. I paint freely like a child, and the viewer is free to return to his or her childlike mind to imagine and enjoy.

Parents and children, family and friends can talk about and understand each other'ssensitivities. I create works that appeal to the viewer's thoughts and make them think in this way.”
