Artist Biography:

With a background in Chemical Engineering and an extensive professional career as an executive director in a leading multinational company in the fashion world, Mariam Cremades began her artistic career in 2014, influenced by her father, a painter.

Her early works reveal a passionate and expressionist gaze that will evolve, self-taught and through experimentation, creativity, and sensitivity, towards much more intimate and minimalist conceptual drifts. Perfecting a clean and harmonious stroke, her technique always highlights the artist's plastic resources, underscored by the juxtaposition and chromatic degradation, both in oil and acrylic, and pronounced textures that mark a path towards sculptural painting.

Mariam Cremades' work combines color, stroke, texture, and light in a particular play of sensory vibrations that seek the interpenetration between individual and nature. Her intense process of artistic development and experimentation finally materialized in "LIFE," a monographic exhibition that began its journey in 2022. In 2023, her work "Coraza" was selected as a finalist in the VIII National Painting Competition of Pozuelo de Alarcón in Madrid. Since then, she has held various exhibitions in Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, and her upcoming commitments include exhibitions in Madrid, Girona, and New York.

The "LIFE" collection is a life diary that represents a journey through consciousness towards the depths of being, as a force to find harmony and the impulse of personal development. It invites reflection on the transience of life, with change as a fundamental and modulating element of the vital path.

Starting from this premise, "LIFE" manifests itself as a ritual, intimate and personal, in the search for balance, driven by self-awareness and interpenetration with nature.

With this philosophy, the canvas becomes a message loaded with symbolism. Through the language of shapes, textures, and reliefs, it frames the meaning of existence, while the richness of colors and their combinations evoke ethereal spaces, immersing us in the purity and diversity of emotions.
