Margaux Yse

Biography:

I was born in Belgium in 1990, and from an early age, I was captivated by the multifaceted world of art and painting. My passion for art deepened over time, nurtured by frequent visits to various art exhibitions across Europe, often in the company of my father. Among all the artists I admired, Wassily Kandinsky stood out, with his paintings leaving a lasting impression on me. The mantra "Color is a power which directly influences the soul" became a guiding principle in my own artistic philosophy and style.

My artistic journey has been global, taking me beyond my native continent. I had a transformative experience in Montreal, studying under an inspiring Canadian painter. Additionally, my time in Brussels allowed me to learn from an Argentinian maestro, further enriching my artistic perspective.

My work delves into the depths of synesthesia, drawing influences from Wassily Kandinsky, Robert Delaunay, and Joan MirĂ³. I strive to create new synergies from modern structures. Painting is ingrained in my DNA, and my art serves as a way for me to disconnect from the world and immerse myself in the abstract. My creations are inspired by nature, shapes, and colors, reflecting my connection to the painters of the world and my desire to explore the abstract realm.
