Kathy Stanley
Kathy Stanley, M.A. is a Jamaican-born artist living on the US West Coast. A visionary artist and ecopsychology educator, her acrylic paintings and mixed media artworks reflect meditative inner journeys of exploring the ecological self. She gravitates towards images that celebrate earth, the rising feminine spirit and invoke wholeness, joy and aliveness. She is a recent recipient of the Voices of Tomorrow International Art Award from Contemporary Art Curator’s Magazine. Her art is currently seen in House and Garden Magazine, The World of Interiors Magazine, Tatler and Vanity Fair UK. Kathy holds a Master’s degree in Women’s Spirituality with Specializations in Spiritual Guidance and Creative Expression. She has taught classes in ecopsychology and spiritual ecology at the undergraduate level for the nine years and currently teaches in the School of Undergraduate Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
Exhibition History
Her art was recently seen in the Paris Art Fair 2023, Monaco International Contemporary Art Fair 2022 through a collaboration with Van Gogh Art Gallery of Madrid, and at the Luxembourgh Art Fair 2022 & 2021 through a collaboration with MONAT Gallery of Madrid. Her art has also been seen in solo and group exhibits in Portland, Seattle, Madrid and in international virtual exhibitions hosted by galleries in Bologna, Milan, and London.
