Artist Biography:

Karin Sonesson is a Swedish artist living in Marbella. She has exhibited internationally, from Stockholm and Paris to Milan, Marbella & London and is currently exhibiting at the “Luminous Art Magic” in Marbella until 18 October 2024. Karin started painting in oil as a teenager and is currently painting in acrylic, alco ink and is also making ceramics. She wants to spread joy and send out messages of strengths through her warm and cheerful patterns and colours.

Her artistic journey is deeply connected to her Scandinavian roots, with treasured memories in Fågelsundet, a fishing village on the northern Uppland coast in Sweden, where her family’s cottages and boathouse have been passed down for generations.
