Artist Biography:

My name is Justyna Kubica and I live in Cracow (Poland).I completed an artistic bachelor’s degree in Bielsko-Biała, specializing in Textiles. At the University of Silesia, I studied Fine Arts, specializing in Painting, Drawing and Graphic Arts.After graduation, I started working on the renovation of paintings and gilding, which gave me the opportunity to learn old painting techniques in practice. At that time, I also took up ceramics. My works are some of de pages of my diary, the possible lines of my biography, which I write down when I'm painting. They are a record of the days, they are about searching for my place in the world, a space for my thoughts and observations. Places, objects, people, nature, play of light, colours. I like to be amazed by everyday life.
