Juan Pablo de Vilmorin

Juan Pablo de Vilmorin Guerrero is a self-taught digital artist from Mexico. He documents quiet moments of daily life, those we experience or observe every day, yet often fail to fully appreciate. These scenes are set in tropical environments reminiscent of Cuernavaca, Mexico, where he resides, but they could easily have occurred anywhere in Latin America or the Caribbean.

Whether sourced from direct observation or imagined, de Vilmorin Guerrero offers quaint vistas of Mexican pueblos at nighttime, individuals carrying fruit through lush vegetation, and colorful interiors overlooking gardens inhabited by cats. These scenes are often set against a backdrop of turquoise blue waters, palm trees, or mountains, allowing us to witness the quiet unfolding of ordinary living.

In describing his work, de Vilmorin Guerrero states, "My work aims to freeze an image from our daily life to capture a moment or observe what we often overlook due to distractions. I believe that the simplest things are the most beautiful ones."
