Artist Statement:
In January 2023, I made the decision to fully dedicate myself to the lifelong passion that had always driven me: becoming a painter and visual artist. I began showcasing my creations to artists worldwide on Instagram. Soon after, I received numerous contacts from galleries and was featured in the French magazine "Maison et Jardin," a decoration magazine that dedicated a page to me in its August 2023 issue. Exhibition invitations poured in from cities like London, Berlin, Miami, Florence, Barcelona, and Monaco. I exhibited in various locations in France, including Nice and Paris, as well as at the international contemporary art fair ART3F in Paris.
Throughout this journey, I learned and innovated, exploring various mediums from drawing and graphics to watercolor, oil, street art, and the use of materials like cardboard and metal. Now, I focus solely on intuitive and abstract art, which allows me to transcend the barriers of my subconscious. Each painting is an adventure into the unknown; I predominantly use spatulas and acrylic paint directly from the tube, mixing colors directly on the canvas. The movement of my hand and arm guides the process, interrupted only by changes in colors, tools, or drying.
The canvas evolves gradually, with movements emerging in a sort of trance-like state, introducing visions that challenge my deepest sensations. Memories, dreams, sensations, and images emerge spontaneously, enriching the creative process. When this intense state of creation subsides, I know the canvas is complete.
