Jesus Cuevas
Artist Biography / Artist Statement:
Originally from the city of Oaxaca, Mexico, he studied at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Oaxaca and at California State University in Fresno, California.
As a painter with an active trajectory in the visual arts, he has presented his work in various national and international cultural spaces through solo and group exhibitions.
In recent years, he has found a connection with art in Paris, where he has created lithographic works at Taller Brandsen & Co., working alongside renowned contemporary artists.
Jesús Cuevas' paintings are based on Impressionism, using colors and textures that capture emotions, which become the protagonists of each of his pieces.
