Biography:

Originally from Ukraine, Iryna Dolzhanska has spent the last 11 years exploring diverse corners of the world and now finds herself in the creative hub of Berlin. Iryna lacks formal art education; she pursued international relations at university and later studied computer graphics and 3D modeling. Nonetheless, her ongoing lifelong passion for drawing led her through experiments with various mediums to mastering the depth and plasticity of oil paint.

Iryna Dolzhanska has always been captivated by the beauty of inanimate objects, portraying them in her minimalistic but still elegant still-life scenes and inviting viewers to share her perspective and discover freshness in simplicity. Focusing on often-overlooked everyday items, she transforms the ordinary into graceful paintings, offering to focus on the unnoticed. Iryna Dolzhanska's backdrops, often dark and moody, add depth, encouraging viewers to stop and study every detail of the artwork.
