Artist Biography:

Farzaneh Zohdi, born in 1989, is a painter who has dreamed of becoming an artist since childhood. She has mostly pursued her artistic journey as a self-taught artist. Although she has had mentors along the way, personal experience and discovery have formed the majority of her learning and artistic growth.

Farzaneh's main interest is human beings. She believes that humanity, as an endless subject, can be reflected in artistic works forever. Her works exhibit elements of Expressionism, Surrealism, and Symbolism. Farzaneh strives to depict emotions in a deep and straightforward manner so that each viewer, upon seeing her work, confronts a part of themselves.

Through painting, Farzaneh Zohdi explores philosophical and psychological issues, finding these branches of the humanities very appealing. For her, painting is a means to convey a profound understanding of herself and the world around her to others. Her goal is for her paintings to evoke the same sense of understanding and empathy as a friend who silently holds your hand during difficult times and says, "I understand you."

Painting is like therapy for Farzaneh Zohdi; a way to process and express inner feelings and experiences. She hopes that through her art, she can help others confront parts of themselves as well.
