Artist Biography:

The 'Gyeol' series explores the inner emotions of women. It delicately and beautifully portrays the pain, sadness, and essence of those emotions that women can feel. In the work, the word 'Gyeol' represents a collection of such subtle emotions, ultimately narrating the emotional journey of becoming a strong and beautiful woman who emerges from pain. The author paradoxically expresses the inner strength of women using fragile materials like paper, aiming to discover the profound stillness and subtle movements of emotions, focusing on the resolution of emotions to provide a new perspective. This leads to a deep reflection on understanding the emotions we experience in life and what significance they hold in our lives.
