Antonella Quacchia was born in Gorizia (Italy) on a cold day at the end of December 1957, but her life, due to family events, led her to move to Brazil at the age of three and a half, a country where she grew up absorbing the positivity, joyfulness, and cheerfulness of its inhabitants, by which she literally let herself be enveloped. This was to be decisive for her outlook on life, and a strength to sustain her even in the most difficult moments.

Her return to Italy and later the completion of her academic studies in Computer Science, led her to find an international job in Geneva and to marry in France, literally dividing her life between these two countries. Family, work and personal vicissitudes forced her to put aside her artistic passion until 2017, the year in which she not only decided to take up colors and brushes again, but also to deepen and perfect her artistic skills by attending painting classes with masters such as: Gilbert Wolfisberg at the L'ArtiQuarium School of Art in Geneva, Alain Gegout at the Atelier de la Roccaille in Bretigny in France, Professor Andy Nabong at the Atelier of Traditional Art in Vienna, Leo Plaw and Jura Bedic with whom she studied the human figure and portraits; and also Angelika Domenig, Roberto Zielasco and Eftichia Schlamadinger at the Kunstfabrik Akademie in Vienna thanks to whom she developed her skills in abstract painting. An artistic nature that is constantly evolving and experimenting leads her to mix a variety of materials with different consistencies such as acrylics colors, metal and marble powders, oil paints, watercolors, inks, pastels, charcoals, as well as paper, bitumen and recuperated materials.

Starting in 2020, she felt ready to embark on a more professional path leading her to showcase her works to a larger public. She, therefore, begun to participate in important group exhibitions and fairs in Austria, Italy, France, Spain and Luxembourg; she currently has three solo exhibitions to her credit, two of which are in Vienna and one in Venice, and her works are part of private collections in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and France.

Since 2022 her artworks have been included in the Catalogo dell'Arte Moderna published by Giorgio Mondadori, in the collection L'Arte Contemporanea Italiana of the Galleria Milanese, in Woman's essence and WE ARE REVERSAL, Musa Pavillon Venice 2022 published by Serradifalco Edizioni and in the “Art Anthology V” 2022 published by Guto Cultural House, Madrid. Antonella Quacchia is represented by the Arthentico, CheetaCraft and Publicartists galleries in Vienna, and by the ARTIO gallery in Toronto.
