Artist Biography / Artist Statement:

Quote from a journalist at Tyresö Nyheterna explaining my painting style:
"Her paintings can be described as a bombastic explosion of flowers, colors, meadows, and heavens. Like a symphony by Joseph Haydn who suddenly got megalomania about."

My name is Anna Brandt, and I live in Sweden. I started painting as recently as 2019. My mother was an artist, and when she passed away, I inherited her artist materials.

This led me to think that I could try it out. As I did, I was soon captivated. I have no training in painting; I paint in total freedom, expressing what comes to me without concern for what is right or wrong.
